BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
General Terms
Party sizes of up to 4 people are booked for a 90-minute slot; party sizes over 4 people for 120 minutes. Please let us know if you require longer.
Please inform us if you are going to be late for your booking. If we cannot contact you and you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your booking time we will rebook your table.
Food or drink that has not been prepared or purchased at Nicholsons is NOT permitted. There are exceptions for Birthday cakes and baby food (please note we are not liable for any food we did not prepare).
If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible by telephone or email. Where deposits have been paid and we can rebook your table we will happily refund all or part of the deposit.
Special Terms for Parties Over 8 People
Please ensure we have the correct contact telephone number and email address information. If we are unable to make contact we will release your booking. We require a £10 deposit per person.
If a set menu choice or a pre-order may be required choices will need to be received a minimum of 72 Hours before your booking date. Please notify us in advance of any special dietary requirements or any other changes you require to our set menus.
Your booking is not confirmed until a deposit and set menu or pre-order (if required) is received.
Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel any booking or restrict entry without notice. In the unlikely event we decide to do this we will fully refund you any deposits and explain in detail our reasons. Menus may be subject to minor change – you will be notified by email or phone of any changes.
Bookings cancellation may result in the charges shown below:
- Full refund on deposits paid if you cancel and give a minimum of 1 Weeks Notice
- 50% refund when we are given less than one Week up to 48 Hours notice
- 20% refund if we are given less than 48 Hours up to 24 Hours notice
- No refund if we are given less than 24 Hours’ notice
We reserve the right to retain deposits for no-shows when the final numbers change by more than 5 people and we are not notified 24 Hours in advance of the booking date.
