Booking Conditions

TABLE BOOKINGS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Party sizes of up to 4 people are booked for a 90-minute slot; party sizes in excess of 4 people for 120 minutes. Please let us know if you require longer.

There is a maximum booking size of 12 people up until 5pm each day and 7 people from 5pm onwards for online bookings. If you want to book a party size in excess of this, please call us or complete the party booking enquiry form on our website.

On Friday and Saturday evenings, we do not usually accept parties of over 8 people after 5.00 p.m., however, larger parties can be accommodated on other days.

Party sizes above 8 people require a deposit of £10 per person. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings that increase in size above 8 people unless a deposit has been paid.

Please inform us if you are going to be late for your booking. If we cannot contact you and you have not arrived within 15 minutes of your booking time we will rebook your table.

No food or drink that our staff has not prepared is permitted at Nicholsons – there are exceptions for Birthday cakes and baby food (please note we are not liable for any food we did not prepare).

If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know as soon as possible by telephone.

Where deposits have been paid we will happily refund all or part of the deposit if we are given reasonable notice of your cancellation and we are able to rebook your table.

We reserve the right to cancel bookings that increase in size above 8 people.

Please provide the correct personal information (email & phone number) so that we can contact you if we need to, with regards to the booking 

Please note that invalid details may lead to the cancellation of your booking.

Any details submitted to us will not be shared with any 3rd party.

Please notify us of any special dietary requirements either via the online booking form or immediately on your arrival at our restaurant.

GROUP BOOKINGS

Please call us or complete our online Party Booking Enquiry form and we will do our best to accommodate you.

CHRISTMAS BOOKINGS

10% off can be claimed when you quote promotional codes on literature or our website.

To receive discounts pre-ordering from our Christmas Party Menus will be required for all December bookings – Christmas Party Menus can be viewed on our website.

Please notify us in advance of any special dietary requirements or any other changes you require to our set menus.

Your booking is confirmed when you have paid a deposit of £10 per person. Deposits are required a minimum of 14 Days prior to your booking

Deposits can be paid in cash, credit or debit card or directly into our bank.

Your menu choice will need to be received a minimum of 72 Hours prior to your booking date.

Menus may be subject to minor changes – you will be notified by email or phone of any major changes.

Please be advised that all bookings cancellations before your event may result in the charges shown below:

  • Full refund on deposits paid if you cancel and give a minimum of 1 Weeks Notice
  • 50% refund when we are given less than one Week up to 48 Hours’ notice
  • 20% refund if we are given less than 48 Hours up to 24 Hours notice
  • No refund if we are given less than 24 Hours’ notice
  • We reserve the right to retain deposits for no-shows when the final numbers reduce by more than 4 people and we are not notified 24 Hours in advance of the booking date.

If you have placed a provisional booking but have not paid a deposit we will do our best to contact you by telephone or e-mail. Please, therefore, ensure we have the correct contact telephone number and email address information.

If we are unable to make contact and a deposit has not been received one week prior to your event we will release the room for re-booking.

We reserve the right to cancel any booking or restrict entry without notice. In the unlikely event we decide to do this we will fully refund you any deposits and explain in detail our reasons.

GIN OFFER

This gives you a chance to enjoy the whole gin range. It applies to double measures only and includes a tonic of your choice

SANGRIA OFFER

Every Tuesday from 12.00 pm to late, you can enjoy pitchers of Sangria at ½ price. This applies to pitchers only and not glasses

TAPAS LUNCH FOR 2 OFFER

Every Monday to Friday 12 – 4 pm, choose from 4 tapas up to the value of £6.75 including a house salad for 2 people for £22.95
